Together with the Inter Cars Foundation, we fund local educational initiatives that teach children road safety. Funds from Wielka Wyprawa Maluchów are used to ensure the safety of the youngest Children.

What is the "Road sign" program about?

Every Child deserves to get to school, home, or the playground safely. Drogowskaz (Road Sign) is a nationwide grant program aimed at educating Children and young people about road safety (RBD).

We believe that theory is best taught through practice and play. That's why we financially support innovative, local initiatives that educate, engage local communities, and promote responsible road behavior. Since 2024, as the Rafał Sonik Stars4Stars Foundation, we have proudly co-financed this program, donating funds raised annually as part of Wielka Wyprawa Maluchów dla Dzieci.

Year 2023 – 1st edition of the program

Launch of the program
PLN 300,000 for grants.

The program was launched as an initiative of the Inter Cars Foundation. The first edition received a total of PLN 300,000, which enabled support for the first innovative projects by local organizations and educational institutions. The pilot's success demonstrated the enormous demand for modern road safety education for Children.

Year 2023 – 1st edition of the program

Year 2024 – 2nd edition of the program

Rafał Sonik's Foundation Stars4Stars joins the program and increases the grant pool to PLN 1,400,000!

The program enabled local non-governmental organizations and public institutions to apply for funding for road safety educational projects. The activities implemented at the time resulted in the prestigious "Benefactor of the Year" award in the "Local Partnerships" category.

Year 2024 – 2nd edition of the program

Year 2025 – 3rd edition of the program

1,400,000 PLN and huge commitment from all over Poland.

Interest in the program exceeded our wildest expectations. We received 663 applications from across the country, from which the selection committee selected 44 of the most original projects. By continuing our differentiated grant system, we funded both smaller neighborhood initiatives and larger educational projects, including innovative theater performances for Children.

A record breaking PLN 1,600,000 for grants.

In the latest edition of the program, a record budget of PLN 1,600,000 was allocated to support local educational initiatives. These funds went directly to local communities, helping schools, preschools, associations, and Volunteer Fire Departments across Poland transform road traffic theory into engaging and practical learning.

Who can apply for funding?

The Road Sign program is dedicated to entities that best understand local needs and want to genuinely improve Child safety in their immediate neighborhoods. The following entities registered in Poland are eligible to apply for grants:

Public institutions

Non-governmental organizations

We support public institutions that have daily, direct contact with Children and young people and the local infrastructure. These include:

public preschools
public schools
cultural institutions
public libraries
social welfare centers
municipal offices.

We fund initiatives by organizations that operate close to the people, unite residents around common goals, and implement unconventional ideas. These include:
